The mission of the Elizabeth Bowens Youth and Women Center is to institute its' Godly values among the youth and women of Liberia. The goal is to promote and contribute to the spiritual and social growth within the community and beyond. The Center's dream is to give hope and empowerment while providing tools for daily living.
The Elizabeth Bowen Youth Center, established in 2020, and officially opened to the public on March 20, 2021, is a beacon of hope and a fitting tribute to the memory of Mrs. Bowen, a woman who was not just a mother, but a loving and selfless caregiver to countless children in her community. This center is a testament to her legacy and impact she made in the lives of so many young people. The facility offers a range of programs and activities designed to empower and uplift the youth in the are, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive. Mrs. Bowen's spirit lives on through this center, and her legacy of love and compassion continues to inspire those who participate in the programs and services offered here.
Each empowered youth and woman will be self-reliant and be able to use the life skills which was learned to make a difference in their community.
